Location

The course will be held at the Elks Lodge 431 at 1469 George Street, White Rock, BC

Course Requirements

An exam will be scheduled once all the courses are completed. It will be a maximum of 3 hours.

Students will be required to Exhibit at no less than 10 exhibits in shows in which the public is allowed. (Parlour shows do not count.) Three blue ribbons must be won on exhibits.

Students must observe judging of 5 public shows with a certified judge of the BC Council of Garden Clubs or Speciality judges in Specialty shows in which the public is invited, or no less than three students may judge together at a public show.

Also Students must co-judge at 5 public shows with a certified judge of the BC Council of Garden Clubs or no less than three students may judge together at a public show.

Students must complete all assignments with a two year period starting April 10, 2010 and ending April 10, 2012. Experiences outside of these dates will not be accepted as credit for this course.

The cost of the course is $150.00 payable to the BC Council of Garden Clubs. A BC Council of Garden Clubs Updated Horticultural Judging Manual is included in the the cost.
