The Vancouver Dahlia Society was formed in 1955 by very enthusiastic growers that loved Dahlias!
During the past few years, our membership has been around 195. Members are active growing many varieties of Dahlias. During our monthly meetings we always focus on some aspect of Dahlia growing. It is a time to learn and share knowledge.
The 'Tuber Sale' held during the first weekend in April at Vandusen Gardens is a fund raiser event for the club. There will be thousands of Dahlia Tubers that can be purchased - hundreds of varieties.
The annual Dahlia Show, also held at Vandusen Gardens, gives members as well as non-members a chance to display their beautiful Dahlias in full bloom - all sizes, forms and colours. This event is held during the first weekend in September. Please plan to attend - guests are always welcome!
