Club Profile

The club was founded in 1924 and has been going strong ever since.

The club is a place to meet other gardeners and learn more about plants and gardening techniques. Gardeners of every level from novice to expert are welcome.

Our objectives are to promoteand increase interest in and knowledge of gardening and the culture of plants and flowers of all kinds.

A Flower Show takes place at each meeting. All members are invited to participate by exhibiting specimen flowers and arrangements. There are classes to enter for fun as well as more competitive trophy classes.

Our meetings provide the opportunity to meet with other gardeners to share advice, information and good fellowship. Special activities are held during the summer months, including picnics, garden visits and tours.
