Club Profile

Our 5 year old organic vegetable garden is at the north end of Centennial Park with looping paths between the 40 allotment beds and the communal part. Volunteers (the gardeners and others) maintain the gardens, compost materials on site and donate over 100 bags of food a year to our community.

Our successful Horticultural Therapy program, Garden Pals, brings seniorsand neighbourhood children together to grow food and learn about their environment. This is our 4th year of making neighbourhood connections.

Activities include potlucks, Winter Dessert Meeting, Summer Seniors Tea (when flowers are best). . . and work parties!
