In 2002 the Society was formed with graduates of the BC Council of Garden Clubs Floral Art and Horticultural Judging Programs.
Symposiums are held twice a year to upgrade and modify judging criteria to coincide with local as well as International Judging Standards. A bimonthly newsletter keeps members informed of suggested changes and news of Judging interests. Suggestions are made to the BC Council of Garden Clubs in an effort to keep their Judging Standards Manual as current as possible.
Membership is restricted to graduates of the BC Council of Garden Clubs Judging Programs and membership is currently $15 per year.
