Formed in 1972, the Geranium Club is all about Geraniums and Pelargoniums. The most often heard comment when we show our plants is “I never realized there were so many different kind!”
Whether your garden is natural cottage style garden, or urban chic, there is a geranium for you. Do you like bold, bright colours or soft, understated tones – we have a plant you’ll love. There are geraniums for all the senses – bright colours, intriguing scents and interesting textures. There are small ones and big ones, ones that grow upright, and ones that trail. These plants have something for every one.
The Geranium Club meets on the first Sunday of each month (except January) in the Cedar Room at Van Dusen Gardens. Meetings start at 1 pm and are preceded by a plant sale and end with refreshments. And even though our main subject is geraniums and pelargoniums, we have guest speakers and workshops of many other subjects as well. Members are happy to share their growing tips and share their successes (and failures).
We welcome visitors, so please come out and see us.
